More About Me

Hi! I'm Christine and I'm so glad you're here!

I started Teaching the Gospel with the idea of sharing my knowledge and experience as both a teacher and learner. It seems I have been a teacher in one aspect or other for almost all of my life and I love it! Here are a few highlights: 

-for three years I taught piano 

-for eight years I taught as a substitute teacher in both public and charter schools

-for six years I owned, created, operated and taught a summer school program for children ages 5-13. We had a blast because we discovered that learning can be fun!

-for six years I taught early morning seminary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

-at various times in my life I have taught Gospel Doctrine, Sunday School and Primary classes

Whew! Yeah, I am a little obsessed with teaching. But in the end my goal for you is the same goal I have for my students. I want you to be confident in your ability to learn and teach. Most importantly, I want you to experience the joy of learning. This is my greatest desire, because as you find joy you will be able to inspire your students to find joy too and the cycle will continue forward forever. After all the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a Gospel of joy and nothing could be better than that!

A Few More Tidbits About Me:

-I am a wife, mom and grandma. My family is the the greatest blessing of my life!

-I graduated from BYU with a degree in Early Childhood Education

-I have a passion for teaching and learning, if you couldn't already tell!

-In my downtime I love to read, play the piano, sing, organize, create stuff and of course, my very favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and friends.
